About Tiger Tennis

Red ball tennis lessons for toddlers and young children under the age of 6 are meant to develop their physical and mental skills and capability, and to harness in them a love for the sport.

Our Tiger Tennis programme for toddlers and young kids is aimed at developing their physical strength and psychomotor skills. Tennis also improves flexibility, agility, balance, and fine motor-skills. These are essential off-court skills that are vital in growing children. At Tiger Kids, we ensure that engagement and excitement are at the core of our lessons to ensure that kids are interested in and are able to develop a love for sports! With experienced tennis coaches, the Tiger Tennis lessons are ideal for children who want to pick up the basics of tennis and develop mental skills all while having FUN!

Mini tennis court set up (35' x 18') with mini net

Mini 17", 19" & 21" kids tennis rackets that are lightweight 

Softest ITF red tennis balls with 75% lesser bounce than normal

Fun-filled, effective 50 t0 60 minute classes

Small group sizes of up to 4 kids per group

Accessible locations and potential to start in new places


Foundational Tennis Skills -

4 years old to 6 years old

- Fun warm-up games
- Innovative skills-based games & activities
- Open-minded coaching style
- Each session will be based on a particular theme, i.e. swinging, catching, throwing etc.

Focus on:
FUNdamental movements
Developing hands-eye coordination (catching, hitting, throwing, tossing)
Racket handling (dribbling, swinging)
Balancing (ball balance, lower body balance)
Agility (running, sliding, dodging)
Mental (mini team & individual challenges) 
Team co-operation
Winning attitude

Recommended racket size:
17" or 19" or 21"


Learn to Play Tennis -

6 years old to 8 years old

- Fun warm-up games
- Introduction to skills-based activities
- All fundamental skills trained in Cubs Tennis will be covered
- More elements of tennis incorporated in each session, i.e. groundstrokes, volley, service, coordination, etc.

Focus on:
Mini groundstrokes rally
Basic volley techniques
Individual skills development
Stage 1 service ability
Teamwork and participation
Good sportsmanship & Fair-play
Finding their role model

Recommended racket size:
19" or 21"


Private Tennis Lesson for Kids

Classes will be customised to suit your child's learning ability, as well as to meet parent’s expectations in order to achieve their goals.

One to one classes or private group classes for up to 3 kids can be arranged at the parent's convenience, subject to availability of coach.
